The scientific program of JELIA 2010 takes place in the main building of University of Helsinki, located in the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus.
The conference takes place in the second festive hall ("Pieni juhlasali") of the main building. The main building ("Päärakennus") is located at Fabianinkatu 33 (Google map). Please use the Fabianinkatu entrance (as shown on the map). For reaching the JELIA 2010 lecture hall "Pieni juhlasali", take an elevator from the lobby to the fourth floor (or use the stairs).
Wireless internet access is made available at the conference venue.
The main building spans the whole block between Aleksanterinkatu/ Yliopistonkatu and Fabianinkatu/ Unioninkatu. The empire part towards Unioninkatu was designed by Carl Ludvig Engel and completed in 1832. In 1937, the university was expanded with a classicistic part designed by J. S. Sirén. There is a student restaurant and a separate cafeteria in the building.
